Bio: Married with three children, worked for many years in office administration, most recently as desktop publisher for the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre. "Retired" to become owner of a boarding kennel and grooming shop in Comox, BC.
I became involved with purebred dogs in 1972, participating in obedience with as-yet unrecognized Akitas. Conformation shows soon followed, and I bred and exhibited Akitas under the "SunoJo" prefix until 2000. We have just one old Akita now, she does a remarkeable job of holding down the floor. The Shiba Inu joined the family in 1986 and Japanese Spaniels in 1996.

Founding member of the Akita Club of BC (past president) and of Shiba Inu Canada (president).
